BP101 SCHOLARSHIP FUND
BP101Fund is now accepting applications for the 2019 BP101Fund Scholarship Program. The number and value of scholarships awarded will depend on the number of recipients selected. BP101Fund is devoted to remember, honor and celebrate Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents who have fallen in the line of duty, while raising funds to assist local border patrol families in need. We have done this through financial assistance to the dependents of fallen agents and we are currently directing funds to a growing scholarship fund to benefit border patrol families in Southern Arizona.
Essays will become the property of the BP101Fund and may be published on the BP101Fund website. Scholarship awards are distributed prior to the immediate fall semester for enrolled full-time student awardees and sent directly to the accredited trade school, college, or university.
The following requirements must be met in order to qualify:
Proof of High School Diploma or GED certification
Applicants must be legally married to a BPA in Tucson Sector. Please list duty station.
Applicants must provide a copy of enrollment acceptance from the program they will attend.
Applicants must submit an essay (btw 300-500 words) describing why they wish to attend the program for which they are requesting aide and how the program will help their family.
Letter (1 page) from the applicant’s BP Spouse on why they deserve this scholarship.
Letter of recommendation (1 page) from a professional source.
Applications should be submitted online. If you have been awarded a BP101Fund scholarship the previous year, applications will not be considered. You must wait a full year before applying again
